Zoe balanced one more little wooden block on top of her tall structure.
It's gonna fall. It;s gonna fall, her four-year-old friends says with fear and a
whisper of hope.
"Oh, I think Zoe knows what she's doing," I say, trying to reassure Zoe.
"Ohhhhh, I don't know that! Zoe laughs.
Well, your good under pressure, then. That's a talent.
Zoe carefully places another block on her somewhat shaky tower/
"What's pressure?" she asks.
When you help kids build confidence, you learn from them-time and again-the importance of letting fear go and letting possibility in.
